Begin your journey in the morning with a flight to Murun town, the provincial capital of Khuvsgul Province. Upon arrival, explore ancient deer stones and carving sites before returning to Murun town. Then, drive to Khatgal town and check into a local guest ger for the night. (Guest ger /B,L,D/)

After a hearty breakfast, spend the morning at the stunning frozen lake Khuvsgul, known as the Blue Pearl of Mongolia. Enjoy a thrilling hour-long horse sled ride, soaking in the breathtaking views. Embark on a scenic drive after breakfast through snow-covered roads to reach the winter camping site of the Mongolian Reindeer tribe. Frequently asked questions

Due to limited production, purchasing reindeer milk directly is not possible. However, you can enjoy reindeer milk tea prepared by local reindeer families. Some families also sell reindeer cheese, which can be purchased if available.

With permission from the owner, you may have the opportunity to ride a reindeer for a short duration.

For domestic flights in Mongolia, the total baggage allowance is 15 kg, with 10 kg allocated for check-in luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage. Additional luggage incurs a fee of 3000-5000 Tugriks per extra kilogram.

During our journey, we will stay for two nights in teepees or stove-heated huts in the Taiga. In Murun town, accommodations in local hotels will be arranged for two nights, and in Ulaan Uul town, a night in a log cabin is planned.

Our skilled expedition chef will prepare a variety of Mongolian and European dishes. Depending on the day's itinerary, such as during extended drives, packed lunches will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies in advance. Mineral water, tea, and brewed coffee will be provided, while soda and juice are not included.

Our team consists of certified English-speaking Tour Leaders and Guides who are experienced and trained by Nomadic Trails experts and the Mongolian Professional Tour Guide Association. They will be your companions throughout the trip, providing guidance and assistance even after your departure.

In the mornings, you can enjoy peaceful activities such as walks, meditation, or reading books.

During our drives, you'll witness breathtaking landscapes, including uniquely formed mountains, tranquil lakes, and frozen rivers. In the evenings, gather around a bonfire to share memorable moments and enjoy the starry sky while sipping wine—an experience to cherish.
